Welcome to the Home of M&M (short for Mario and Madeleine).
This home was created in the beginning of September 1999. As any home this one has a lot of decorating to undergo before it becomes a cosy one.
We hope to get this done in the future. We also realize that this job will never be finished.
Currently our main interests are: exploring our family tree and Vintage Radios.
In exploring the family tree it's our goal to find as much as possible data on our ancestors named Huizinga.
Although we only started in August 1999 we have recovered about 300 relatives going back to the year 1791.
We also know we still have a long,long way to go.
Collecting Vintage Radio's started around 1995. We then inherited a radio that used to belong to my grandmother.
It had always attracted me since my childhood. From that point on we started collecting Radio's and relating data, schematics and manuals.
After a rush start we slowed down a little because of the lack of storage place for al these mostly big radios.
Besides radio's we also collect tube operated measurement equipment (why not). They sometimes come in handy repairing the radios.
